Atlanta, GA (June 30th 2011) Elizabeth Hill, a Sr. Technical Recruiter at Anteo Group, has been selected to speak to children participating in Achieve Kids Tri in Atlanta. Hill will be speaking about the significance of sports in living a healthy life. ACHIEVE works with children ages 9-14 to introduce them to the sport of triathlon (swimming, cycling, and running). ACHIEVE of Atlanta has taken an additional step to further the success of its program by partnering with the Odyssey Program. The Odyssey program is a partnership between the Atlanta Public Schools and Westminster Schools to provide a free intensive summer academic and athletic program for children from economically disadvantaged communities.

Elizabeth explains, “I’m a complete advocate for the sport of swimming. Growing up it was a huge part of my life and I truly believe in what sports can do for children. Not only does swimming teach children discipline and work ethic but also it’s just filled with good people. I’m excited to work with this program! Children coming from families struggling economically are extremely underrepresented in the Triathlon sport as well as in swimming. I hope to convey the opportunity that is out there for them.”

In addition to working with Anteo Group as a Sr. Technical Recruiter, Elizabeth has been the Community Swim Coach for the Westminster Schools for the last two years. She grew up in Atlanta, attended Westminster, and swam for Dynamo Swim Club. She continued her swimming career at the University of Georgia, where she served as Team Captain her senior year. While at UGA, Elizabeth was part of an American Record breaking relay team, National Championship team and SEC Championship team. In addition she represented the United States and was a gold medalist on the international level when she competed in Pan Pacific, Pan American, and World University Games. Hill also volunteers with Girl Get IT, a nonprofit organization which seeks to inspire younger girls (grades 7-12) to enter into careers and studies of Science, Engineering, Math, and Technology.

5 Myths about Executive Job Search

Atlanta, GA (June 24, 2011) Jim Montembeau, Managing Partner and co-Founder of Anteo Executive Search, will be interviewed for a feature on MMM Tech Law & Business Report. His interview, “5 Myths About Executive Job Search,” explores the top misconceptions regarding executive job searches.

Montembeau’s expertise was sought by MMM Tech Law & Business report to not only advise current jobseekers, but to also inform those who possess an active interest in the job market of the top 5 myths surrounding executive search. Montembeau raises an excellent point in Myth #2 when he explains job seekers networking interests should not solely rest with the industry in which he or she is active. Montembeau continues on to illustrate his point, “Contra networking is a term that I coined that basically allows you to be able to attend events where you are the anomaly. In other words, if you are an executive in the IT field, you may want to attend events that happen to be in, let’s say, the financial field as well. The idea is that you are going to be the one that gets noticed in that particular room.” Montembeau maintains a steady pace while delivering thoughtful responses to the remaining myths.
